Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best known for her roles in films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hing Koun..! She began her career in the 80s before coming into prominence thanks to her character in Tezaab, a film where she appeared alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir In Dil. In Mumbai, she was raised by middle class parents. From a very early time, she decided to dance. As a young woman She began acting but struggled as many films she made were unpopular. Her career eventually took off and she was able to establish herself as one of the leading actors in the Indian film industry. Her break from her acting career after her wedding, before returning into the entertainment business. Recently, she had an important part in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women within India. Dixit has been nominated 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she received eight. In addition, she was awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her work in the field of social service is known to the world.
