Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. The majority of her early years listening to classical music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music, as well classic classical music. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other theatrical performances. Ana began learning and singing the piano with her mom, then began more intense singing training at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of chamber and opera choirs. In 2000, she relocated to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she returned to her current home in Southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
